August 25, 2010 - On behalf of my colleagues and our staff at Youngstown Orthopaedic Associates, I'd like to invite you to visit our new blog regularly as we share our point of view online.
As the title suggests, we believe strongly at YOA in the value of local healthcare, including the delivery of advanced orthopaedic procedures right here in the Mahoning Valley. The myth that one has to travel to Cleveland or Pittsburgh for the best of orthopaedic care is just that -- a myth.
In fact, many studies have shown that the proximity of immediate and extended families and friends is a significant factor in advancing one's recovery from major health challenges. Our team of nine surgeons encourages family involvement by offering the best of care right here.
We not only have more surgeons on-site than any other practice, but we also have a large team of physical therapists, occupational therapists, athletic trainers, radiologists and technicians in our two buildings to provide all of the services necessary for a full recovery.
We've invested consistently in our people and facilities over the years to make sure our neighbors can count on the best of care. Thanks for your interest and support. We look forward to continuing to serve you and your healthcare needs.
